AI agents are becoming participants
AI is moving from generating content to communicating, deciding and taking action. Businesses need infrastructure that establishes what an agent represents, what it may do and when a human must become involved.
Our thesis
The internet was designed to move information, not establish trust. Mobile messaging made communication immediate but fragmented identity across phone numbers, inboxes, applications and channels.
AI agents now introduce a new class of participants capable of communicating, deciding and acting at enormous scale. The next generation of important companies will make those interactions verifiable, permissioned, intelligent and auditable.
Five chapters
AI is moving from generating content to communicating, deciding and taking action. Businesses need infrastructure that establishes what an agent represents, what it may do and when a human must become involved.
Customers increasingly expect to discover, authenticate, buy and receive support within a conversation. Verified messaging can evolve from a support channel into a secure operating layer for customer relationships.
A one-time code only proves that someone received a message. Future identity systems will combine channel trust, device possession, behavioral context, authorization and risk.
Businesses need a clear record of who—or what—communicated, what was authorized, how a decision was reached and when responsibility passed between AI and humans.
Access to powerful models will become widespread. Defensible companies will combine those models with specialized workflows, industry context, proprietary data, trusted distribution and deep understanding of how work actually happens.

We are less interested in adding AI to existing software than in rebuilding important interactions and workflows around what AI now makes possible.
